Experience
Ken joined the firm in 2008 and is a director in our advisory department, focusing exclusively on the insolvency sector.
With over 12 years of insolvency experience, Ken has worked on various liquidations (Creditors’ Voluntary, Court-appointed, and Members’ Voluntary), receiverships, and examinerships. He has also administered large asset portfolios under Grant of Probate.
Ken’s sector experience spans retail, hospitality, property, construction, automotive, and food and beverage, among others. He has been involved in the successful sale of trading businesses and large property portfolios in receivership situations. Additionally, Ken spent a year on secondment with Ulster Bank’s Global Restructuring Group, handling debt restructuring for trading businesses.
Ken is the lead director for the firm’s personal insolvency service, Grant Thornton Debt Solutions, one of the largest Personal Insolvency Practitioner (PIP) firms in Ireland.
